​​​​​The Ann Arbor Housing Development Corporation (AAHDC) ​was established as ​a nonprofit corporation to relieve a shortage of decent, safe and sanitary housing for persons and families of low income in the City of Ann Arbor and other Michigan communities by financing and engaging in the development of the AAHC's housing projects.
